Energy from waste created from a multitude of landfill destined waste
In energy recovery and co-generation applications, the hot gases from the thermal oxidiser are sent through insulated ducting to a waste heat boiler.
Steam produced by the waste heat boiler may be used in both industrial applications as well as steam turbine generators.
The steam turbine generator produces electricity, which may be consumed internally within the production facility or exported back to the grid.
For example, a TRU 4000 processing in excess of 1,800kg of municipal green waste an hour can produce upwards of 2.6. MW-h (megawatt hours) of electricity.
